Shawn O Photo was founded in 2008 by Shawn Orlowski, a Rochester native since birth. It began as a side business; a continuation of a childhood hobby. The son of a photographer, Grandson of a painter, and nephew of a poet,  Shawn swiftly followed in his family's artistic footsteps to become a professional photographer and quickly picked up that photography isn’t about the push of a button at the right moment; it’s about capturing the essence of a person and creating a timeless feel in a photo’s composition, mood and lighting.

 “You will never work a day in your life as long as you are doing what you love. For me, that means inspiring people through my work and creating memories that will last a lifetime and then some”.
